How do I install MetaMask?

Visit the official MetaMask website or your browser's extension store (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, etc.). Click "Add to Browser" and follow the setup instructions to create a new wallet or import an existing one.
What is a seed phrase and why is it important?

Your seed phrase (also called recovery phrase) is a set of 12-24 words that gives you access to your wallet and all its accounts. It's the master key to your funds - never share it with anyone and store it securely offline. If you lose your seed phrase, you lose access to your wallet permanently.
How do I connect to a dApp with MetaMask?

When visiting a dApp website, look for a "Connect Wallet" button. Click it and select MetaMask from the options. A MetaMask popup will appear asking you to connect your wallet. Review the permissions and click "Connect" to grant the dApp access to your public address.
Is MetaMask safe to use?

MetaMask is designed with security in mind. Your private keys are stored locally on your device and never shared with our servers. However, security also depends on you: never share your seed phrase, use strong passwords, enable additional security features, and only connect to trusted dApps.
What networks does MetaMask support?

MetaMask supports Ethereum Mainnet and many other networks including Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Optimism. You can also add custom networks manually. Always ensure you're on the correct network when transacting.
